Online Spanish Upskilling Courses for Primary Teachers

Funded by Department of Education and Youth

Our company has developed a Foreign Language Upskilling Course for Primary Teachers in Ireland, considering the redeveloped Primary Language Curriculum and the forthcoming introduction of Modern Foreign Languages at primary level.

Our language upskilling course aims to develop key communicative competencies in Spanish for use with students and colleagues in both structured and spontaneous contexts. It also focuses on building cultural awareness that supports teachers in teaching Spanish to primary school children at Stage 4 and in integrating cultural content into language lessons

For each level, we designed a specific study plan, which may include, depending on the level and learning objectives: theory classes focusing on language building: grammar, vocabulary, and communication for classroom use and everyday interaction; guided conversation sessions to practice fluency and apply the language in meaningful contexts; review sessions dedicated to consolidating knowledge, rehearsing teaching strategies, and reflecting on how to apply the content in real classroom situations.

The Foreign Language Upskilling Courses are funded by Department of Education and Youth. Even so, as a guarantee of your commitment, a deposit of €40 will be required upon registration. The deposit will be refunded upon completion of 80% of the course.

The essential requirement to start the Spanish Upskilling Courses with us is to have an A2.1 level. Our teacher will evaluate you, and at the same time you will have the opportunity to meet us and learn more about our teaching method and working style.

Read below the study plan that we intend to follow throughout this module, so you know what to expect. However, the pace of teaching will always be adapted to your level and to the level of your fellow learners.

If your current level is A2.1, we invite you to complete the registration form. Our teacher will then send you a placement test to confirm your level. You will also have the opportunity to meet her for a free introductory meeting, should you consider it necessary, before deciding to join our Spanish Upskilling Courses.

“I am super delighted with the online course”

I am super delighted with the online course, apart from the fact that it has allowed me to learn from home. From September of last year, when I started the course until now, I have even had the facility to watch the recorded classes when for some reason I could not attend the class. It is a way to improve, today I know many things about the language that before I did not have the slightest idea. Thank you very much for everything, I hope to continue and keep improving every day.  translated review

“An excellent course”

An excellent course. Very complete, explained super well! The teacher answers all the questions in class or in private! Any problem with the classes they solve quickly. translated review

“A very serious person, extremely well organized, she has both patience and perfect pedagogical methods and attitude”

Our boy studied Spanish for several years (about 4) with Andreea. Apart from the fact that she is a very serious person, extremely well organized, she has both patience and perfect pedagogical methods and attitude. The collaboration was excellent and our teenager, after less than 4 years of study, managed to obtain the DELE B2 at Cervantes. We highly recommend her! translated review

“She integrates into the preparation plan specific elements that relate to the student’s priorities and interests”

I have been working with Andreea for almost a year, I am very satisfied both with the method and with the way she follows the progress and how the meetings go. I especially appreciate the fact that she integrates into the preparation plan specific elements that relate to the student’s priorities and interests. Highly recommended! translated review

“Her teaching methods are one of the best “

I’ve been taking courses with Andreea for more than 2 years and it helped me a lot. From A1 I’ve become C1 in a short time. She has helped me achieve A* in my IGCSE qualifications and score A in my AS. Her teaching methods are one of the best and she is a wonderful person that is very patient with you and will help you all the way. Without her I would’ve never understood Spanish or speak it well.

“A top-notch language school”

I highly recommend Punto Iberica! As someone passionate about learning, I’ve found their language courses to be absolutely excellent. Andreea, the teacher, is not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly accommodating. At Punto Iberica they’re always tailoring their approach to meet individual needs and goals. Their teaching methods make learning enjoyable and engaging, and I always look forward to each lesson. The friendly and supportive environment they create has made my language-learning journey truly rewarding. If you’re looking for a top-notch language school, Punto Iberica is the place to go! I absolutely LOVE learning with them!

“A quote that represents teacher Andreea”

“A good teacher is a master of simplification and an enemy of simplism.” — Louis A. Berman

“If she had taught 15 foreign languages, I would have wanted to learn them all”

“I tried several teachers from various language centers and I cannot find any comparison with the seriousness and the way Andreea approaches the course and the modules previously tested with other tutors. The day I met Andreea, I knew that if she had taught 15 foreign languages, I would have wanted to learn them all. Not only is she a fabulously beautiful, honest, cultured person, but she is also a teacher who meets expectations even when the student is demanding or has high requests. She is a teacher who easily captures your attention and who transmits with an indescribable ease the love for culture and language, whether it is Romanian or Spanish. translated review

“Although you had the impression she put you through fire, you gained a very large and solid baggage of knowledge”

“Andreea has an objective, fast, sometimes tough way of introducing you to what she teaches, but in a short time you realize that, although you had the impression she put you through fire, you gained a very large and solid baggage of knowledge. Andreea pushes things to your limit of capacity, she feels you, she motivates you, she makes you want and be able to do more. She helps you surpass your limits without feeling uncomfortable. She makes you, through her attitude and teaching style, want more, know more, work more.. translated review

“You feel you can overcome any barrier on your way to the success of having knowledge of the language you study”

“Andreea has proved to be much more than a teacher. She is a friend, she is a travel companion on your path, she is a psychologist when she finds you discouraged, she is the art lover who can talk to you about paintings, music, films, documentaries, books, biographies. Andreea is an amalgam of beauty, kindness, inspiration, motivation, talent, and a teacher with whom, once you interact and adapt, you feel you can overcome any barrier on your way to the success of having knowledge of the language you study more than you ever thought you could.
