      Romanian Language Seminar

      The Romanian language seminar is addressed to all expats and foreigners who are looking to build a solid foundation on their path to learning Romanian.

      The seminar will be held in Bucharest on April 13th and 14th, from 10 AM to 4 PM, in a very cosy conference room in Bucharest (Bld. Barbu Văcărescu).

      Beginner lessons – Basic elements

      Your first interactions with a Romanian teacher, as well as your first lessons, are very important. Our goal is to teach you the elements that are essential for a beginner, like pronunciation, reading aloud and some grammar notions.

      During the seminar, we will follow the following structure:

      Look at what you will actively study during the Romanian Language Seminar:

      • Alphabet and pronunciation
      • Personal pronouns
      • Verbs “to be” and “to have”
      • Noun: Introductory concepts

      We will work on the following texts: Let’s get acquainted (hai să ne cunoaștem) and At the market (la piață).

      Remember that this is a seminar, so we will be focused on teaching. Therefore, at the end of each day, we will allocate an extra 30 minutes for questions and answers.

      Experienced Romanian teacher

      Andreea has been teaching Romanian as a foreign language to adults since 2012. During her career she has worked in integration programs and also with the business environment. She has developed teaching materials and educational frameworks. This seminar is one of her programs and during the last five years at Punto Iberica we have had 8 events in Bucharest or Sinaia.

      Course support

      As a participant in the Romanian Language Seminar, you will receive a short course support, along with everything you need to take notes. We will not leave you with just this. Believing that sharing is caring, after the seminar is finished, Andreea will recommend what materials you can use and how you should continue learning Romanian.

      A group module of Romanian lessons for beginners

      Written agreement

      Because we want to assume in written every particular aspect of our various teaching methods, all our Romanian lessons are provided on a contractual basis. Therefore, during the checkout, you will be asked to provide the following data. This is the minimum required for completing a contract and issuing an invoice:

      • Receive by email the e-contract. Review and sign it.
      • Receive the fiscal invoice. From now on, your registration is confirmed.
      • Save the date (April 13th and 14th) and prepare to effectively start learning Romanian

      How many persons will participate in the Romanian Language Seminar?

      This is a seminar. Therefore, it is open for 15 to 20 participants. Still, we are focused on the added value that we usually offer. That’s why we decided to focus more on theory (7.5 hours), rather than on a participative approach.

      How much will I learn at the Romanian Language Seminar?

      The seminar has only 10 hours, out of which 7.5 are theory and 2.5 practice. We are aware that learning has many subjective parts. Our goal is to teach you the topics that are covered in the Seminar, setting a straight track for your further development. 

      What will happen if less than 15 participants register?

      This is a low-budget module. Therefore, we cannot afford to start it with less than 15 participants. Our contract states that if this requirement is not met until April 10th, we will immediately reimburse the total price. April 10th, 12 PM, is when we will send information to everyone about the number of registered participants.

      Will participants be actively involved in the lessons?

      The focus of the seminar will be kept on teaching, rather than a participative approach, but during the 2.5 hours of practice, everyone will be randomly involved in the exercises. For this stage, we will also design group exercises, to ensure that everyone can participate

      Are there any continuation options after the Romanian Language Seminar?

      Sure, there are! All the participants will receive a 5% voucher, valid for 3 months, for any of our teaching methods. You can choose the method that is most suitable for you: one-to-one lessons, private groups, or group modules. Of course, these lessons will be online, but we are confident that, after getting to know us, learning online will not be a problem for you anymore.
